swelling? no problem
some swelling and bruising after your appointment is completely normal. bruising usually settles within a few days, while swelling can last a week or two, depending on the individual and they treatment performed.

the process is simple - but please read
*Avoid getting the area dirty. You need to minimise the chance of a pathogen entering your system. No make up in the area, minimal touching, avoid gyms, sauna, spas and gardening etc. 36-48 hours after injections. Please use the lip cream provided by us.
*No pressure on the area. Avoid face down massage/chiro, dentist, goggles, helmets and sleeping on that area.
*Avoid exercise for 36-48 hours. Give your body a chance to welcome the product!
* Hot activities should be avoided for 36-48 hours, including hot showers
*All facials or skin treatments should be avoided for a week. This includes home devices, beauty appointments etc
* You may experience lumpiness. We will instruct you how to gently massage the area without affecting the placement of the filler
- Keeping an eye out for more serious complications -
* If you experience more than mild bruising, pain or skin changes, contact us
* If you experience symptoms that are of concern or more severe than expected, please contact us
* You must self monitor for 3 days after treatment. If any areas seem mottled, pale, funny pattern or pustules, contact us
* If you experience any vision changes, this is a medical emergency and you should contact us immediately
results
Full results should be seen at 3 weeks. We are unable to 'add more' or 'balance' within this first stage of healing. If you feel like you would like some more, this can be discussed with us. There will be full charge if more product is wanted and used.
Some people will require more dermal filler than others. Whether that is becuse your anatomy allows for stretching and more product or you metabolise it faster than others. Individual results vary. You may need to do several treatments to build you up to the desired effect. Dermal filler usually lasts 6-8 months but has also been known to last for many years.
